Happy New Year

2010 was a great year for Van Der Neer.

We as always had a blast at Launch '10 in July. This Launch was especially great because we had one of our dearest friends and mega star Julie Ann Bee (seaofbees.com) perform a kick ass just for us version of her song "Sister". Not only that but we launched our first Mens wear. And with 17 models all together our summer was definitely spoken for.

It was that Launch where we met the beautiful, talented Scatha, of Miss Velvet Cream. (missvelvetcream.blogspot.com) She invited us to be a part of The Crocker Art Museum's: Neo-Crocker Modern Culture Party. The party brought over 1,300 people and included everything from a free form Pedestal fashion show, to the main event RJD2. For this event we did our first Couture collection, made with all Silk chiffons, Leather, Velvet, and Satin. We were also so lucky to get to use Pamela Tuohy 2ETN one of a kind pieces which made the whole room sparkle.(pamelatuohyjewelry.com) Definitely one of the best nights ever for anyone there. LOVED the pedestals. If you missed this party check out the Neo-Crocker video Justin made on our Van Der Neer facebook.

And for the best ending to this year, we were asked to be in the first issue of Truxury Magazine. The worlds first HD video magazine, spotlighting the worlds best luxury products. We were featured in their Winter 2011 issue. Here is the feature:

The first
Neo-Crocker in 2007 brought 1,300 people together for an evening unlike any experienced before at the Crocker Art Museum. That party celebrated the beginning of construction of the Crocker’s 125,000-square-foot addition. Three years later, construction is done and the new wing is preparing to open. Celebrate the arrival of the New Crocker with us at Neo-Crocker 2010.
